A secret conspiracy. The third film in the 28 Days Later franchise. The sequel was originally going to be titled 28 Months Later and continue the film’s timeline-established theme. However, so much time has passed since we last returned to this world in 2007 (28 Weeks Later) that it seemed more appropriate to call the film 28 Years Later…, followed by 28 Years Later Part II: The Bone Temple
