James Gunn pitched the ‘CREATURE COMMANDOS’ before taking over DC
It follows a group of military superhumans consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, a Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon.. Gunn then greenlit the project himself when he became CEO of DC Studios. Writer and series creator James Gunn appears in the opening credits with a laptop while typing up a script.

. Featured in the cast of AniMat’s Mad Cartoon: The Return of the King (of the Hill) (2023). Honestly, not a great start unfortunately wasn’t impressed although not bad but not good nor quite a weak start to the DCU unfortunately.

I hope it’s better, but the two episodes that came out weren’t great and the jokes weren’t very funny, surprisingly because I love James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy movies and I enjoyed Peacekeeper and his TSS 2021. It was good, but the creature commandos I was excited about, but unfortunately I was disappointed even though it’s 2 episodes I hope it’s better. Frank Grillo does a good job, the only two characters I enjoyed were Alan Tudky as Dr.
